The Single Best Upgrade for Any Ryobi Electric Mower

If you own a Ryobi electric riding mower, you probably know its biggest weakness: the stock lead-acid batteries. After two seasons, mine were completely shot, struggling to hold a charge and finish my lawn. After some research, I decided to swap the four heavy, failing batteries for this single DC HOUSE 48V 50Ah LiFePO4 battery, and the difference is night and day.Performance: A Whole New MachineThis battery has completely transformed my mower. The most noticeable difference is the incredible runtime. I can now easily mow my entire half-acre lot twice, maybe even three times, on a single charge. Before, I was lucky to finish once. The power delivery is also far more consistent. The mower no longer bogs down on thick patches of grass or inclines; it just powers through with the same blade speed from start to finish.Installation:The swap was surprisingly simple. Honestly, the hardest part was hauling the four incredibly heavy lead-acid batteries out of the mower. This single LiFePO4 battery is significantly lighter and dropped right into the battery tray. I used a couple of straps to make sure it was secure, connected the positive and negative terminals, and that was it. The whole process took less than 30 minutes. Conclusion: A Must-Have UpgradeThis isn't just a replacement battery; it's a fundamental upgrade that makes the mower what it should have been from the factory. The performance, longevity, and consistent power of LiFePO4 technology are undeniable. While the initial cost is higher than getting another set of lead-acid batteries, the long-term value is a no-brainer. If you're tired of battery issues with your Ryobi rider, do yourself a favor and get this. It's one of the best investments I've made for my lawn equipment. Highly recommended!

Pleasantly Surprised, Specs not listed. Added in photo

I see a lot of packs state that they are rated for Carts and really are not. I would say that this one i would initially say is close to failing, Perk, the inside is clean and tidy. The unit's complete specs are not listed on the site but it does come on an included card after the fact so I figured I would share it with any consumer potentially thinking about this pack. Overall I have no real complaints, the pack housing is sturdy but I am not sure if it will rust over time being on the cart, I guess we will find out. I put a single 50Ah pack on my 2004 Club Car DS golfcart just to see if I would trip the BMS, start up acceleration with WOT; no issue, driving; no issue, I kept Wide open throttle down to under 10s to avoid the 200A max discharge from faulting. These packs did breathe new life into my cart. I do not know how long the pack is good for yet or how the BMS will handle a large hill, but before trying 18 holes or going up an extended incline, I plan on putting a second unit in series on the cart.. For the price, most of the solar DIYers seemed quite impressed with the internals besides the BMS.So does it work in a cart? I installed the second pack and charged the unit up. It handled 18 holes with no problem, my golfing partner was extremely surprised at the pickup and how well it did. I am very happy with the conversion and if this holds up to over 6 years of use then it is almost half the cost of running lead acid packs. They are a little wide for a cart but they are short and allow me to locate them centrally and keep the centre of gravity right in the middle where it should be.I have now had the units for a few months in the cart and have not had a single issue with them other than they like to shift in the battery compartment. The only downside to these cases is that there are no tie down or securing positions on the boxes and a HD rubber securing strap does not keep them square on hard turns, I will have to figure something more substantial out on this.

Mini is Mighty!

A housing site I help run uses 10 EZGO TXT48 carts for housekeeping and maintenance personnel use. After 5 years of steady all day service southwest US heat, the 8volt Trojans are beginning to loose capacity and use a lot of water to stay charged. So I tried a LiFePO4 100Ah conversion on one cart and loved it! Cart only used about 10% of charge after a day's use so the next 3 carts I converted to the 50Ah DCHOUSE LiFePO4 batteries to save on the budget. They run excellently and stay above 75-80% after a day's use, maybe 5-6miles? These EZGO's are at standard speed setting and the lighter weight makes them lively. I love getting away from lead acids! I bolt a 23"x23"x5/8" piece of plywood in where the battery pack sits and then have something to secure the LiFePO4 pack and charger to with room to spare on the sides. No more monthly battery cleanings and waterings and fighting corrosion on the cables (the bumpy dirt and gravel the carts travel over slosh acid ridiculously). Thanks for coming out with the mini 51v cart battery it is wonderful :-)

Perfect battery for riding mower

Very easy and simple set up. Worked great right out of the box. I replaced my ryobi rm300e riding mower batteries with this unit. I did have to cut off two pieces of metal to get it to fit in the battery compartment however. But pretty simple job with an angle grinder.

Replaced awful lead acid batteries

Golf cart runs wonderfully now, has more power and stamina then ever! Even the best lead batteries can't compete, and caused lots of corrosion. Also, MUCH lighter than the lead batteries, simple installation
